Kareena Kapoor is one of the most cherished actresses in Bollywood, having captivated fans since her debut in the film "Refugee" in 2000. Over the years, her talent and charm have garnered immense admiration. In 2012, Kareena tied the knot with actor Saif Ali Khan, forming one of the most beloved couples in the industry. Recently, Kareena gave an insightful interview to The Week, where she shared intimate details about her marriage and career. Despite their status as Bollywood royalty, Kareena and Saif, like any regular couple, experience minor conflicts. One common point of contention is the temperature setting of their air conditioner. Kareena also revealed that their arguments often stem from their busy schedules, which limit the time they can spend together. She noted, “I think the fight is mostly for time because we have not seen each other. We don’t fight about money or anything like that; it is mainly because of the fact we are not getting enough time with each other or the fact that we are not seeing each other. It’s the only thing.”
As Kareena approaches her 12th wedding anniversary, she reflected on how marriage has positively transformed her. She acknowledged, “Marriage has changed me for the better. I am more responsible. We feed off each other. We are like, ‘if he grounds me, I ground him.’ If I am going a little crazy, he will always tell me and vice versa.” This mutual grounding and support have been pivotal in their relationship.
Balancing their demanding careers and personal lives remains a challenge for both actors. Kareena shared an instance illustrating their hectic schedules: “He came at 4:30 in the morning, he was sleeping and I left for work and he has woken up and probably left for a shoot and then I am flying to Bangkok tomorrow, so I won’t see him even though we are living in the same house. Balancing time is difficult. We sit down with the calendar to fix this day.”
Kareena Kapoor was last seen in the film "Crew," alongside Kriti Sanon and Tabu. She is set to appear in Hansal Mehta's "The Buckingham Murders," slated for release on September 13, 2024. Additionally, fans can look forward to her role in the upcoming film "Singham Again."
